INTERIOR DESIGNER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, ADA compliance, and ergonomic standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and software.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and implementing creative and functional interior spaces to enhance the employee experience and improve overall workplace efficiency.
• Involves collaborating with various departments to understand their needs, objectives, and brand guidelines.
• Responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating innovative design elements into their work.
• Conduct site surveys and space planning to determine the most efficient layout for workstations, meeting rooms, common areas, and other functional areas.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and renderings to visualize the design concepts.
• Incorporate ergonomic principles and ADA compliance guidelines to create spaces that are accessible and comfortable for everyone.
• Research and select appropriate finishes, materials, and furniture to create a cohesive and visually appealing design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to select colors, patterns, and artwork that align with the corporate brand identity
• Select lighting fixtures, window treatments, and other decorative elements to enhance the overall design
• Research and select furniture that meets ergonomic requirements, durability standards, and aesthetics.
• Coordinate with furniture suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with design specifications
• Coordinate the installation of furniture and assist with any reconfiguration or reconfiguration requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into overall building plans.
• Provide input on architectural and structural elements that may affect the design process.
• Ensure that design concepts align with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure compliance with project documentation, including design briefs, specifications, and project plans.
