Facilities Engineer (MEP)
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in in MEP engineering or a related field.
- Skills and Competencies: System maintenance, technical expertise, compliance, energy management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is desirable
Responsibilities:
- The Facilities Engineer (MEP) is responsible for the maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the camps. This includes ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of all MEP systems.
- System Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure all MEP systems are operational and efficient.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise on MEP systems. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant regulations and standards. Implement safety protocols for the operation and maintenance of MEP systems.
- Energy Management: Monitor and optimize energy usage within the facilities. Implement energy-saving measures and initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the status and performance of MEP systems. Document all maintenance activities and compliance inspections
