Electrical Engineer

Qualifications:

• This job requires male applicants
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• With experience in high-rise buildings of at least 25 floors.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and security
• Ensure that all electrical systems comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations. Stay updated on relevant codes and standards and implement changes as necessary.
• Design and oversee the installation of power distribution systems to ensure a reliable and efficient supply of electricity throughout the building.
• Implement measures for load balancing and backup power systems.
• Design and implement lighting systems that meet the building’s requirements for both functionality and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with interior designers to achieve aesthetically pleasing lighting designs.
• Design, install, and maintain fire alarm and safety systems to ensure the safety of occupants.
• Implement emergency lighting systems and backup power sources for critical safety equipment.
• Work on the integration and maintenance of security systems, such as access control, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions, such as smart building technologies, to reduce overall energy consumption and operational costs.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing reliability of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and project managers to ensure coordinated and integrated project delivery.
• Provide technical expertise and support to other departments within the organization.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, specifications, and manuals, for all electrical systems in the building.
• Manage electrical aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors and subcontractors.
