FOOD MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food and beverage industry, with a track record of success in a fast-paced and growing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance standards (HACCP).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and adapt to new challenges.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the production department, including resource allocation, and workforce management.
• Implement and maintain efficient production processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Working to production schedules to optimize output while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Lead and motivate a team of production employees, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions

We are the largest kava processing factory and exporter of kava powders in the world. We exclusively purchase our Kava from the surrounding Vanuatu Islands of Pentecost, Malekula, Santo, Ambrym, and Ambae.
