CAS Recruitment Ltd is hiring Vehicle Electricians (Bus) for deployment to Cyprus. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems of commercial buses, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with manufacturer standards.

VEHICLE ELECTRICIAN (BUS)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Vehicle Electrician, Auto Electrician, or similar role.
  • Graduate of a Technical School, Higher Technical Institute, or HND Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience working with commercial vehicles, particularly buses.
  • Experience with Euro 6 engine electrical and electronic systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and circuits.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and fault-finding tools.
  • Knowledge of bus electrical systems, lighting, charging systems, starters, alternators, and control modules.
  • Experience in air-conditioning (A/C) system maintenance, servicing, and refrigerant recharging.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Energetic, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Must possess a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose electrical and electronic faults on commercial buses and related equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding procedures for electrical breakdowns and incidents.
  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace wiring, sensors, switches, relays, control units, and electrical components.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify system malfunctions.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and manufacturer technical documentation.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on bus air-conditioning systems, including recharging and routine servicing.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Follow workshop safety procedures and company maintenance policies.
  • Coordinate with mechanics and maintenance teams to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

Salary Offer:

  • Salary starts at €1,600.00 Gross monthly.
  • Forty-Eight (48) working hours / Six (6) days a week.
  • Contract duration is for 2 years.
