Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies Co. Ltd. (AWPT) is seeking experienced and technically skilled SCADA Technicians for deployment to Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support instrumentation, automation, and SCADA system operations for water, wastewater, and utility facilities.
SCADA Technician
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience is required.
- Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Engineering or related technical fields.
- Experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and process monitoring operations.
- Experience working in water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and utility operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, control schematics, and instrumentation drawings.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial plant environments.
- Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or within a technical team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot SCADA systems and instrumentation equipment.
- Monitor and maintain reliable operation of plant monitoring, measurement, and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in instrumentation devices, PLC systems, sensors, transmitters, and SCADA networks.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on automation and control equipment.
- Support operations in water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and utility facilities.
- Read and interpret control schematics, instrumentation diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Conduct system testing, calibration, and performance verification of instrumentation devices.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and operational standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and operations personnel regarding maintenance schedules and technical concerns.
- Prepare maintenance reports, calibration records, and technical documentation accurately.
