Mechanical Services Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Steel Pipe Fabricator and Fitter to work on industrial piping projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large-diameter and high-pressure piping systems, strong technical knowledge, and relevant certifications in pipefitting and welding.

Steel Pipe Fabricator and Fitter

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in pipefitting, welding, or metal fabrication preferred.
  • TESDA NC II in Pipefitting (or equivalent National Certificate) required.
  • 3–5 years of industrial work experience, particularly with large-diameter piping and high-pressure systems.
  • Certifications in SMAW, GTAW (TIG), or FCAW are a major advantage.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and fit steel pipes according to technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Prepare pipe joints for welding and ensure proper alignment and fit-up.
  • Collaborate with welders to ensure high-quality and code-compliant welds.
  • Inspect materials, tools, and completed fittings for accuracy and safety.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
