Mechanical Services Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Steel Pipe Welder with extensive experience in industrial and commercial pipe welding. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on welding experience, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.

Steel Pipe Welder

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Steel Pipe Welder & Fitter.
• Vocational Diploma or short course certification in welding or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols.
• Experience in industrial/commercial pipe welding and metal fabrication.
• Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, install, and repair metal piping systems according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to determine layout and welding requirements.
• Select appropriate tools, materials, and welding methods (MIG, TIG, Stick welding).
• Ensure structural integrity and compliance by performing precise, code-compliant welds.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and completed welds for defects.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and supplies in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on schedule.
