The Warehouse Assistant will support day-to-day warehouse operations, including the preparation, handling, and movement of merchandise. This role ensures accurate packaging, labeling, and timely dispatch of goods while maintaining warehouse organization and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in warehouse operations, packaging, or shipping.
• Experience in using warehouse lift equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks).
• Ability to lift and handle merchandise safely and efficiently.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety standards.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labeling items accurately.
• Load and unload goods using appropriate warehouse lift equipment.
• Move, lift, and stack merchandise efficiently within the warehouse.
• Assist in maintaining organized, clean, and safe warehouse spaces.
• Follow proper procedures for handling fragile or sensitive items.
• Assist in inventory counts and reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Officer or Warehouse Team Leader.
• Support other warehouse operations as required to ensure smooth workflow.
