Dominion Wire & Cables PTE Ltd. is looking for an experienced Inventory Officer to manage inventory levels and ensure the smooth operation of stock control in the warehouse. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring stock availability, and supporting logistics operations.
Inventory Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least College-level education.
- Proven experience in inventory or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., ERP, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory records and ensure they are up to date.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation of physical inventory against system records.
Monitor inventory movements and ensure efficient stock management. - Ensure proper labeling and organization of stock in the warehouse.
- Process inventory requests, stock transfers, and returns.
- Assist with the procurement process and ensure timely order deliveries.
- Use inventory management software (ERP, SAP) to track and update stock levels.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
- Address discrepancies in inventory and investigate any variances.
