Welder Supervisor

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ship or offshore hull assembly
• Excellent ability to read and interpret hull/block stage technical drawings
• Strong understanding of project-specific quality requirements
• Proven supervisory skills in hull assembly work (experience in prefabrication, outfitting, or piping supervision is not required)
• Good teamwork and communication skills with clear understanding of own role and responsibilities
• No criminal record certificates for any country lived in for more than six months
• Healthy and able to work effectively in the occupation applied for

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide Shipyard Fitters in ship hull assembly and modification work
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project-specific quality requirements (e.g., deck straightness)
• Interpret and utilize hull/block measurement reports
• Monitor and enforce safe working practices
• Ensure adherence to given schedules and timelines

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
