Mechanical Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance.
• Must have strong hands-on experience in wastewater treatment systems.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Bachelor’s/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Must have Certificate of Employment from previous employers.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience is required.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment plant equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical components.
• Ensure proper functioning of pumps, motors, valves, and treatment systems.
• Monitor plant performance and record operational data.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining treatment facilities and related equipment.
• Report equipment issues or irregularities to supervisors.
