FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Smooth Pay, MYOB, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- High level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing financial documents
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
- Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Supervise and guide Accounts Associates in managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurate
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making
