RECEIVER
Qualifications:
- Male, applicants are preferred for this role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receiver in a warehouse, hardware, or houseware retail environment
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, inventory systems, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery documents
- Accurately encode and maintain records of received items
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of products in the warehouse
- Report damaged or missing items promptly
- Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams regarding deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the receiving area
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
