PROJECT/SHIP REPAIR MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering
• Possess work experience as Project Engr/Manager for ship repair, drydock and shipbuilding in shipyard;
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company in his technical capacity;
• Checks and reviews estimates prepared by Commercial Officers in accordance with customers’ specification and ensures work complies with company requirements;
• Study jobs specifications and technical requirements and Delegates jobs to Engineers and plan manpower for its jobs; Inspect work done and advises
• Yard Manager when project is ready for final inspection by the owner’s representative/ class surv
• Raises and approve issue passes for materials required for the jobs
  Report work progress daily to Client representative and respective Department
• Head, Report technical problems beyond technical capacity or authority to respective Department
