Food Safety Manager

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in food safety management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Skills and Competencies: Food safety protocols, team management, communication, risk assessment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000).

Responsibilities:

• The Food Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that all food provided within the camps meets the highest standards of safety and quality
• This role involves developing food safety protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with local and international food safety standards.
• Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the food safety team, providing guidance, support, and professional development. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in food safety.
• Food Safety Protocols: Develop and implement comprehensive food safety protocols and procedures. Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000).
• Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular food safety inspections and audits. Monitor food storage, handling, and preparation practices.
• Risk Management: Identify potential food safety risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Training and Education: Provide training and education to staff on food safety practices and standards. Stay updated on the latest food safety regulations and best practices.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on food safety performance, inspections, and initiatives. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
