WESTERN PASTRY CHEF

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience is required.
• Candidate must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in any field or similar fields.
• Experience in preparing European and American-style desserts, breads, and pastries such as cakes, tarts, and croissants.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and dessert presentation.
• Ability to develop new recipes and maintain menu innovation.
• Experience supervising kitchen or pastry staff is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and consistency in product quality.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Create, bake, and decorate a variety of Western-style pastries and desserts.
• Manage ingredient inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards in the pastry section.
• Develop and test new recipes to improve menu offerings.
• Supervise pastry staff and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry products.
• Monitor production processes to meet daily output requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen management for menu planning and execution.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
