T3 Projects Zambia is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee welding operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. The successful candidate will supervise welding personnel, coordinate with project teams, and maintain compliance with engineering specifications and industry codes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the welding industry, with 5–10 years of relevant welding experience preferred.
• No minimum educational attainment is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of welding processes and fabrication practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Proven experience supervising welding personnel and coordinating project activities.
• Thorough understanding of welding quality standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily welding operations and assign work tasks to welding personnel.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and compliance with project schedules.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with approved welding procedures, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
• Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with applicable codes and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, quality inspectors, and project managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Provide technical guidance and support to welders to maintain high-quality workmanship.
• Prepare daily progress reports and address technical or operational issues as they arise.
