BA Industries Pte Limited is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Welding Supervisor to oversee welding and heavy fabrication activities in Fiji. This opportunity is ideal for experienced welding professionals with strong supervisory skills and solid knowledge of welding processes, fabrication drawings, and quality control procedures.

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in welding or heavy fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication drawings, and quality control.
- Proven ability to supervise welders and fabrication personnel in an industrial or heavy fabrication environment.
- Strong technical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining high standards of welding quality and workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily welding and heavy fabrication activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
- Lead and guide welders, fabricators, and other workshop personnel in carrying out assigned tasks.
- Review and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure appropriate welding processes, techniques, equipment, and materials are used for each project.
- Monitor welding activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of welds, fabricated components, and completed work to identify defects and ensure required quality levels are achieved.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, quality control personnel, and other departments regarding welding and fabrication requirements.
- Ensure welding equipment, tools, and work areas are properly maintained and safely operated.
- Monitor production schedules and manpower requirements to ensure welding and fabrication activities are completed on time.
- Identify welding defects, fabrication issues, and other technical problems and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities, inspections, materials, production progress, and quality control requirements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, welding safety standards, and company policies.
- Train and provide technical guidance to welding personnel to improve workmanship, productivity, and safety.
- Perform other welding supervision and fabrication duties assigned by management.
