WAITER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Previous experience as a Waiter, Server, Food and Beverage Attendant, or similar hospitality position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and restaurant operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Ability to take orders accurately, manage multiple tables, and work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in basic English with guests, supervisors, kitchen staff, and coworkers.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods and carrying food and beverage items safely.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper handling of food and beverages.
• Reliable, hardworking, courteous, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality and guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, attentive, and courteous food and beverage service.
• Present menus, explain food and beverage options, and assist guests with selections when requested.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring proper presentation, order accuracy, and service timing.
• Monitor assigned tables and respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address additional needs.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, beverages, daily specials, and available promotions.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, supervisors, and other service personnel to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Set up and clear tables, ensuring dining areas are clean, organized, and properly prepared for guests.
• Handle plates, glassware, cutlery, trays, and other service equipment safely and appropriately.
• Process guest bills and payments according to established hotel or restaurant procedures when required.
• Respond professionally to customer complaints and refer complex concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming, cleanliness, hygiene, and professional appearance.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing service stations and replenishing supplies.
• Support other restaurant and hospitality operations when required.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues to provide efficient, friendly, and high-quality guest service.
• Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere that creates memorable experiences for every guest.
• Perform other food and beverage service duties assigned by management.
