TECHNICIAN (FORKLIFT)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Must possess a 2-year Diploma or any relevant Vocational Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience as a Forklift Technician or similar role.
• Good command of the English language.
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of forklift mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Inspect forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Repair or replace defective components, parts, and systems.
• Conduct routine servicing, lubrication, and equipment adjustments according to maintenance schedules.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow company policies, quality standards, and operational requirements at all times.
