T-Three Projects is offering an overseas employment opportunity for an experienced Supervisor (SMPP) in Zambia. The successful candidate will oversee structural, mechanical, platework, and piping activities, ensuring that fabrication, installation, and erection works meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and mining site safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of working experience.
• Preferably 7–10 years of experience in mining, heavy industry, or construction projects.
• Proven supervisory experience in SMPP works, including:
  • Structural steel fabrication and erection
  • Mechanical equipment installation
  • Platework fabrication and assembly
  • Piping fabrication and installation
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, fitting, erection, alignment, and mechanical installation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GA layouts, piping isometrics, and structural details.
• Knowledge of mining site safety protocols, including PTW, LOTO, confined-space work, and working at heights.
• Experience conducting toolbox talks and workplace risk assessments.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• No minimum educational attainment is specified for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise SMPP activities, including structural steel erection, mechanical equipment installation, platework assembly, and piping fabrication and installation.
• Oversee welding, fitting, alignment, and installation of structural steel and piping systems.
• Monitor the fabrication and erection of platework components, including chutes, bins, tanks, and hoppers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, general arrangement (GA) layouts, piping isometric drawings, and structural details.
• Coordinate daily work activities and monitor the progress of fabrication, installation, and erection works.
• Ensure that work is performed according to engineering specifications, approved procedures, and project schedules.
• Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments before work begins.
• Enforce mining site safety requirements, including Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined-space entry, and working-at-height procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, site managers, contractors, and other project personnel to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality control and inspection requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure that workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
