KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in kitchen operations or food services.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation, ingredient cutting, and portioning.
• Familiarity with preparing fillings according to recipes and instructions.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, including stoves, ovens, and weighing scales.
• Experience handling different food products, including meals, bread, and desserts.
• Strong awareness of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Cut, wash, and prepare vegetables, meat, and other food ingredients according to required sizes and quantities.
• Assist in preparing and portioning different types of fillings according to approved recipes and instructions.
• Use kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, and weighing scales safely and correctly.
• Assist in preparing and handling different food products, including meals, bread, and desserts.
• Measure ingredients and follow recipes and portioning requirements.
• Support kitchen staff with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Store ingredients and food products properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
• Follow food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Work efficiently with kitchen team members to meet food preparation schedules.
