Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Stone Benchtop Installers for deployment to Australia. The successful candidate will install granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone benchtops for residential and commercial projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

STONE BENCHTOP INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Candidates must have at least 1 year in college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
• Experience installing granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone benchtops.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and verify site measurements accurately.
• Knowledge of stone handling, installation techniques, and finishing procedures.
• Skilled in on-site cutting, polishing, leveling, and finishing work.
• Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy stone materials and equipment.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Install granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone benchtops for residential and commercial projects.
• Interpret technical drawings and verify measurements before installation activities.
• Transport and handle stone slabs safely using proper lifting equipment and safe work practices.
• Perform on-site cutting, polishing, leveling, edge finishing, and fitting of stone materials.
• Apply adhesives and complete seamless joins and professional edge finishes.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, materials, and work areas.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and project teams to complete installations on schedule.
