Steam Turbine MOH E&I Engineer

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
• Must have 7–10 years of experience in steam turbine major overhauls.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control logic, excitation systems, and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, single-line diagrams, and OEM documentation.
• Strong understanding of steam turbine electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with technical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, instrumentation, and control-related issues.
• Knowledge of inspection, testing, calibration, and commissioning procedures.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commitment to safety and procedural compliance.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during major overhaul and shutdown activities.
• Good English communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical, instrumentation, and control activities during steam turbine major overhauls.
• Plan and organize E&I overhaul activities according to approved schedules, procedures, and technical requirements.
• Inspect electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and associated turbine equipment.
• Interpret and review P&IDs, loop diagrams, single-line diagrams, control logic, and OEM documentation.
• Inspect and verify electrical connections, control circuits, instrumentation systems, and related components.
• Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system problems during major overhaul activities.
• Analyze control logic and identify faults that may affect turbine operation and performance.
• Inspect instrumentation devices, sensors, transmitters, control equipment, and associated systems.
• Support testing, calibration, functional checks, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with mechanical engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, control specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure E&I work is performed according to OEM requirements, engineering specifications, and approved procedures.
• Review inspection findings and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the quality and technical accuracy of completed E&I overhaul work.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical findings.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex electrical, instrumentation, and control issues.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide updates on overhaul progress, findings, and outstanding issues.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, work permits, isolation requirements, and established maintenance practices.
• Communicate technical issues, findings, and recommendations clearly to supervisors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation related to E&I overhaul activities.
• Perform other electrical, instrumentation, control, and steam turbine overhaul duties assigned by management.
