STAFF NURSE
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification nursing experience.
- Holder of a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional Licensure Examination) as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing board registration/license.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and meticulous medical records.
- Committed to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and comply with hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and promptly report any changes to the attending physician.
- Respond to emergency situations by providing immediate nursing care and assisting with emergency treatment procedures.
- Identify workplace health and safety hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of health and safety programs to promote a safe healthcare environment.
- Identify work-related risks and ensure compliance with infection prevention and occupational health and safety protocols.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, medications, injuries, illnesses, and nursing interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, medication management, and post-treatment care.
- Assist in mentoring, training, and supporting the continuous professional development of nursing staff.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with ethical, legal, and professional nursing standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned by hospital management.
