Support Oita Co., Ltd. is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for Automobile Repair & Maintenance work in Japan under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program. The position is suited for former Technical Intern Trainees (TITP) who have relevant automotive skills and qualifications. Successful candidates will perform vehicle inspection, maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair work while following Japanese automotive standards and workplace safety procedures.
SSW AUTOMOBILE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE
Qualifications:
- Former Technical Intern Trainee (TITP).
- Holder of a Grade 3 Level Skills Evaluation Certificate.
- JLPT N4 Certificate.
- Must have a valid Philippine Driver’s License.
- At least 2 years of driving experience.
- Relevant experience and knowledge in automobile repair, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting.
- Able to safely operate automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on automotive repair and maintenance work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
- Willing to work in Japan for 3–5 years.
- Willing to follow company rules, regulations, workplace policies, and Japanese workplace practices.
- Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair of automobiles.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and other technical problems.
- Diagnose vehicle faults using appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect and service engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, and other vehicle systems.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, adjustments, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall defective or worn vehicle components.
- Use automotive hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop machinery safely and correctly.
- Conduct testing after repairs to ensure vehicles are operating safely and properly.
- Identify abnormal vehicle conditions and report major repair requirements to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, parts, and service activities.
- Follow technical manuals, repair procedures, specifications, and instructions provided by the employer.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe automotive workshop.
- Properly handle tools, equipment, lubricants, oils, chemicals, and automotive parts.
- Follow Japanese workplace safety rules, company policies, and environmental procedures.
- Coordinate with other mechanics, technicians, supervisors, and workshop personnel.
- Assist with other automotive maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Continuously improve technical skills and adapt to Japanese automotive workplace practices.
