SPRINKLER FITTER

Qualifications:

  • Filipino male, preferably not more than 48 years old.
  • At least 3–5 years of overseas work experience in the relevant Sprinkler Fitter position.
  • Must be able to clearly explain and demonstrate previous work experience and technical skills.
  • Strong practical knowledge of fire sprinkler system installation, pipe fitting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret sprinkler drawings, blueprints, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, assembling, and installing sprinkler piping.
  • Knowledge of sprinkler heads, valves, fittings, pipe supports, hangers, and related fire protection components.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, pipe-fitting equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to perform pressure and system testing and identify leaks or installation defects.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing demanding installation and maintenance work.
  • Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to comply with company and site requirements.
  • Resume must include specific details of duties, responsibilities, equipment, tools, and scope of work performed.
  • Must have verifiable employment experience and credible references.
  • Willing to take IELTS or PTE as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to approved plans and specifications.
  • Read and interpret sprinkler system drawings, layouts, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Measure, mark, cut, thread, and prepare pipes and materials for sprinkler installation.
  • Install sprinkler pipes, fittings, valves, hangers, supports, and related components.
  • Position and secure sprinkler piping accurately according to approved layouts and required spacing.
  • Install sprinkler heads and ensure correct positioning, orientation, and coverage.
  • Assemble and connect piping systems using appropriate fittings, tools, and installation methods.
  • Perform pipe fitting, threading, grooving, cutting, and other preparation work as required.
  • Conduct pressure testing, flow testing, and other system tests to identify leaks or installation problems.
  • Inspect completed sprinkler installations to ensure proper fit, alignment, and workmanship.
  • Identify leaks, blockages, damaged components, or other system issues and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Assist with commissioning and testing of newly installed fire sprinkler systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on existing sprinkler systems.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe machines, measuring instruments, and other equipment safely.
  • Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, builders, engineers, supervisors, and other site personnel.
  • Follow approved installation procedures, project specifications, fire protection requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
  • Report material shortages, equipment faults, installation problems, and safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain work records and documentation when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
