FIJI GAS is seeking a skilled and experienced S&I Technician Plumber to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas and water piping systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, installing plumbing systems, and ensuring safe and efficient gas infrastructure operations in accordance with industry standards.

S&I TECHNICIAN PLUMBER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in plumbing or related technical field.
• Must possess a Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing or related field.
• Valid Group 2 driving license is required.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and plumbing layouts.
• Ability to calculate pipe sizing and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of gas and water systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in compliance with safety and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret plans, drawings, and building specifications to determine layout for gas pipes and plumbing systems.
• Calculate appropriate pipe sizing based on load requirements and system specifications.
• Install gas and water pipelines, including fittings, valves, and related components.
• Test plumbing and gas systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose plumbing and gas system issues and perform necessary repair works.
• Provide technical plumbing support to terminal operations when required.
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and material requirements for projects.
