SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Degree or Trade Certificate in Electronics or any related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in repairing, installing, and maintaining white goods, home appliances, televisions, and Hi-Fi systems.
• Strong practical knowledge of electronic and electrical systems.
• Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in electronic and household equipment.
• Hands-on experience in repair, installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with televisions, Hi-Fi systems, white goods, and other home appliances.
• Able to use electronic testing equipment, hand tools, and specialized repair tools.
• Good understanding of electronic components, wiring, circuits, and electrical connections.
• Able to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams, specifications, and service instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to disassemble, repair, test, and reassemble equipment correctly.
• Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Responsible and careful when handling customer equipment and company property.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering quality repair and maintenance work.
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow company procedures and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of watches and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults and technical problems using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work on electronic components and systems.
• Perform installation, servicing, and maintenance of white goods and home appliances.
• Diagnose and repair faults in household electrical and electronic appliances.
• Service and maintain televisions and Hi-Fi systems.
• Inspect electronic components, wiring, connections, circuit boards, and other parts for defects or damage.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment carefully during repair and servicing.
• Replace damaged, worn, or defective components as required.
• Conduct functional tests after repairs to ensure equipment operates correctly.
• Use hand tools, electronic testing instruments, and specialized repair equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow technical manuals, manufacturer specifications, service procedures, and repair instructions.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend appropriate repair or maintenance solutions.
• Ensure repaired equipment meets required quality and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, replacement parts, and completed service work.
• Explain identified faults, repair requirements, and maintenance recommendations when required.
• Handle customer equipment and company property carefully during servicing and repair.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and workstations in clean and proper working condition.
• Follow electrical, electronic, workplace health, and safety procedures at all times.
• Properly manage electronic components, spare parts, and repair materials.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technical personnel regarding complex repairs or technical issues.
• Keep the repair area clean, organized, and safe.
• Stay updated on equipment specifications, repair methods, and relevant technical practices.
• Perform other technical, repair, servicing, and maintenance duties assigned by management.
