GMP Recruitment Services Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified and compassionate Senior Therapy Associate to support occupational therapy services in a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will assist in patient assessments, mobility training, therapy programme delivery, and therapeutic treatment support while ensuring high standards of patient care and rehabilitation services.
Senior Therapy Associate
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation services
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Occupational Therapy or related health sciences field
- Degree must be from a recognized WFOT-accredited programme (WFOT Approved Education Programmes)
OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy with a relevant bachelor’s degree in health sciences - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a 500-bedded hospital setting
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Monitoring
- Take and record patients’ vital signs
- Administer questionnaires and conduct basic case history taking
- Perform screenings and clinical assessments under therapist guidance
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Patient Mobility and Exercise Training
- Assist patients with mobilisation, therapeutic activities, and rehabilitation exercises
- Provide transfer and gait training
- Assist with prosthetic and mobility aid training
- Support patients in regaining functional independence and mobility
- Independent Programme Delivery
- Conduct group therapy sessions independently
- Run therapy and rehabilitation programmes, including pre-discharge training at Lifehub and Mobility Park
- Coordinate with therapists and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Therapeutic Equipment and Treatment Setup
- Assist in setting up patients with therapeutic equipment
- Facilitate various treatment modalities under therapist supervision
- Ensure therapy areas and equipment are properly maintained and prepared for patient use
Requirements:
