SCHEDULER
Qualifications:
- Experience using Primavera P6, with practical application in project scheduling during the past 5–8 years.
- Up to 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling project data and schedule reports.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, activity relationships, project planning, and construction best practices.
- Good knowledge of project scheduling principles, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, and schedule control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in project schedules and reports.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify schedule risks and potential delays.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction and project environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline schedules, detailed work programs, look-ahead schedules, and schedule updates.
- Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules and identify delays or deviations.
- Collect progress information from construction, engineering, procurement, and other project teams.
- Update project schedules based on actual progress, approved changes, and revised project requirements.
- Analyze schedule performance and identify activities that may affect project milestones and completion dates.
- Monitor critical path activities, key milestones, dependencies, and schedule constraints.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding schedule requirements.
- Assist in developing recovery and mitigation plans for delayed or critical activities.
- Prepare progress reports, schedule analysis, dashboards, and other planning-related reports.
- Track planned versus actual progress and provide accurate schedule information to management.
- Assist with resource planning, activity sequencing, and coordination of construction works.
- Ensure that construction activities are logically sequenced and aligned with project execution strategies and best practices.
- Review project schedules for completeness, logic, durations, relationships, and realistic activity sequencing.
- Maintain accurate project planning records, schedules, databases, and documentation.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present project and schedule data.
- Support project meetings by providing schedule updates, progress information, and identified risks or delays.
- Monitor schedule changes and assist in assessing their potential impact on project completion.
- Coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate schedule concerns, potential delays, and required corrective actions to the appropriate project personnel.
- Perform other planning and scheduling duties assigned by project management.
