SAP OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- College graduate, preferably with a degree in IT, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience using SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in data entry, inventory, purchasing, sales, warehouse, or other business transactions.
- Familiar with basic SAP/ERP transaction processing, record maintenance, and report generation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when encoding and verifying data.
- Ability to review transaction documents and identify discrepancies or incomplete information.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory, purchasing, warehouse, sales, or supply-chain processes is an advantage.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and office productivity tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills when working with different departments.
- Able to handle confidential company information responsibly.
- Reliable, organized, analytical, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Willing to perform repetitive data-entry and system-based tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the SAP/ERP system to encode, process, update, and monitor company transactions.
- Enter, verify, review, and maintain accurate data and records in the SAP system.
- Process transactions related to inventory, purchasing, sales, warehouse operations, materials, and other business activities as assigned.
- Encode purchase orders, goods receipts, stock movements, sales transactions, material requests, and other authorized documents in the system.
- Verify transaction details, quantities, item codes, prices, dates, and supporting documents before system entry.
- Generate, print, organize, and maintain SAP reports, transaction documents, and system records.
- Monitor system entries and identify incorrect, incomplete, duplicated, or inconsistent data.
- Coordinate with warehouse and storekeeping personnel to ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in SAP.
- Assist purchasing personnel with encoding purchase orders, supplier information, quotations, receipts, and related procurement transactions.
- Assist sales and operations teams with the accurate processing and updating of sales and order-related transactions.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records of SAP transactions and supporting documents.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation by comparing SAP records with physical stock counts and reported inventory movements.
- Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate department to correct inaccurate transactions.
- Ensure transactions are entered promptly to keep system information current and reliable.
- Prepare periodic reports and data summaries requested by supervisors and management.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company data, transaction information, and system records.
- Follow established SAP/ERP procedures, data-entry controls, authorization requirements, and company policies.
- Communicate with relevant departments regarding missing documents, transaction discrepancies, and system-related concerns.
- Assist users or department personnel with basic SAP transaction and data-entry requirements when required.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when handling large volumes of data.
- Report system errors, access issues, or technical problems to the appropriate supervisor or IT personnel.
- Perform other SAP operation, data-entry, reporting, and administrative duties assigned by management.
