SAFETY OFFICER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or in HSE roles, ideally in industrial, offshore, or pipeline operations
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, regulations, and best practices
• Familiarity with offshore and industrial field operations safety protocols
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in remote or physically demanding environments
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and safety-conscious mindset

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures for field operations
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on-site
• Monitor compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Provide safety training and guidance to field personnel and crew members
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports with corrective actions
• Collaborate with project management and engineers to identify and mitigate hazards
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports for compliance and auditing purposes
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive hazard prevention among all employees
