Mana Ranga UAB is seeking experienced Rough Carpenters (Concrete & Rebar) to join its construction team in Lithuania. The role involves structural concrete framing, formwork, rebar installation, and related construction activities. Candidates must be physically capable of performing demanding site work and must strictly follow construction plans, safety procedures, and site regulations.
Rough Carpenter (Concrete & Rebar)
Qualifications:
- Preferably not more than 45 years old.
- Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in structural concrete framing and formwork.
- No specific educational attainment is required by the employer.
- Proficient in blueprint reading, structural layout, laser levels, and rebar tying.
- Skilled in constructing and dismantling concrete formwork and structural framing.
- Knowledgeable in measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing formwork materials.
- Experienced in positioning, tying, cutting, and bending reinforcing steel bars.
- Proficient in safely using power tools, rebar cutters/benders, and powder-actuated tools.
- Able to accurately follow structural drawings, measurements, specifications, and work instructions.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding construction work and manual labor.
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather and construction-site conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate workmanship.
- Able to work effectively as part of a construction team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
- Strict adherence to construction site safety, fall protection, and PPE requirements is required.
- Willing to follow company policies, project procedures, and applicable workplace safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rough carpentry work for structural concrete framing and formwork.
- Construct, install, and dismantle concrete forms according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and construction plans.
- Perform accurate structural layouts and mark locations for walls, columns, beams, slabs, and other concrete structures.
- Use laser levels and other measuring tools to establish accurate elevations, lines, and dimensions.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and secure timber and other formwork materials.
- Install and maintain formwork to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, stability, and concrete placement.
- Prepare work areas and materials before concrete pouring activities.
- Install, position, tie, and secure reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to structural drawings and specifications.
- Perform rebar tying and ensure proper spacing, alignment, overlaps, and positioning.
- Operate rebar cutters and rebar bending machines safely and accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment required for carpentry, formwork, and reinforcement work.
- Safely operate powder-actuated tools when required and authorized.
- Check completed formwork and reinforcement installations for accuracy and structural readiness.
- Assist with concrete pouring, placement, and related structural construction activities as required.
- Dismantle formwork carefully after concrete has achieved the required condition, while protecting completed structures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in clean and safe working condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors, carpenters, steel fixers, concrete workers, and other construction personnel.
- Follow established construction methods, project specifications, and supervisor instructions.
- Strictly comply with site safety procedures, fall protection requirements, and PPE standards.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or potential hazards to the supervisor.
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and working at elevated locations when required.
