ROOFER

Qualifications:

• Filipino male, preferably not more than 48 years old.
• At least 3–5 years of overseas work experience in the relevant Roofer position.
• Must be able to clearly explain and demonstrate previous work experience and technical skills.
• Strong practical knowledge of roofing installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement.
• Experience working with different roofing materials, tools, equipment, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret roofing plans, drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, fitting, securing, and finishing roofing materials.
• Knowledge of roof flashing, waterproofing, sealing, gutters, drainage systems, and roof penetrations.
• Good understanding of working-at-height safety procedures and proper use of fall-protection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding roofing and construction work, including working at heights.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to comply with company and site requirements.
• Resume must include specific details of duties, responsibilities, equipment, tools, and scope of work performed.
• Must have verifiable employment experience and credible references.
• Willing to take IELTS or PTE as required.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, maintain, and replace roofing systems according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret roofing plans, drawings, measurements, and technical specifications.
• Inspect roofs and identify damaged, deteriorated, or defective areas requiring repair or replacement.
• Measure and prepare roof areas and materials before installation.
• Install roofing materials such as metal sheets, tiles, flashing, underlay, membranes, and other roofing components.
• Cut, shape, and fit roofing materials accurately according to roof dimensions and design requirements.
• Install and repair roof flashing around chimneys, vents, skylights, valleys, edges, and other roof penetrations.
• Install gutters, downpipes, roof trims, and related drainage components when required.
• Secure roofing materials using appropriate fasteners, tools, and installation methods.
• Ensure proper alignment, overlap, sealing, and weatherproofing of roofing materials.
• Remove damaged or existing roofing materials safely when carrying out replacement work.
• Perform roof repairs to address leaks, damaged materials, structural issues, and other defects.
• Apply appropriate sealants, waterproofing materials, and protective coatings as required.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, elevated work platforms, hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely.
• Conduct quality checks on completed roofing work to ensure proper installation and finish.
• Maintain roofing tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, particularly working-at-height requirements, and properly use required PPE.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged materials, equipment faults, or other site concerns.
• Coordinate with builders, carpenters, plumbers, supervisors, and other construction personnel.
• Complete assigned roofing work efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and workmanship.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
