Droup Al Etihad is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Road Marking Machine Operators to join its road construction and maintenance operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating road marking machines, applying road markings according to project specifications, preparing work areas, and ensuring the quality and visibility of pavement markings. Applicants must have relevant work experience, preferably overseas employment experience, and be willing to follow company procedures and workplace safety standards.

ROAD MARKING MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants only, as specified by the employer.
  • 45 years old and below.
  • Relevant work experience operating road marking machines is required.
  • Previous overseas work experience (ex-abroad) is required.
  • Practical knowledge of road marking equipment, materials, and application procedures.
  • Familiarity with road line layouts, pavement markings, measurements, and project specifications.
  • Ability to operate machinery safely and follow technical instructions.
  • Knowledge of roadwork safety procedures and traffic management requirements.
  • Ability to identify equipment problems and perform basic operator maintenance.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively with supervisors and construction teams.
  • Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.
  • Willingness to comply with company policies, project schedules, and Saudi Arabian workplace regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate road marking machines and related equipment for applying traffic lines, pavement markings, and road symbols.
  • Apply road markings on highways, streets, parking areas, and other designated surfaces according to project requirements.
  • Inspect road marking machines before operation to ensure that equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Check paint, thermoplastic materials, beads, and other supplies needed for road marking activities.
  • Prepare road surfaces by ensuring they are clean, dry, and suitable for marking applications.
  • Set up and adjust road marking equipment according to the required line width, thickness, spacing, and application specifications.
  • Follow approved layouts, measurements, and instructions for marking road lanes, pedestrian crossings, stop lines, and directional arrows.
  • Ensure markings are applied accurately, consistently, and within the required project tolerances.
  • Monitor machine performance and material flow throughout the marking process.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of road marking machines and associated equipment.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions, blockages, and operational problems and report them to the supervisor.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and handling road marking materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with road construction crews, traffic controllers, supervisors, and other workers to complete assigned tasks safely.
  • Follow traffic management plans and safety procedures when working on active roads or construction sites.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure materials are stored properly.
  • Inspect completed markings for alignment, visibility, uniformity, and overall quality.
  • Report work progress, material consumption, equipment issues, and other operational concerns to the supervisor.
  • Minimize material waste and ensure the proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Perform other road marking and construction-related duties assigned by management.
