QUALITY INSPECTOR
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Inspection, or manufacturing, preferably in detergent, chemical, cosmetics, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of raw material inspection, in-process quality control, and finished product inspection.
- Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, hygiene, housekeeping, and manufacturing safety standards.
- Ability to identify and properly document non-conforming materials and products.
- Experience preparing quality inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports.
- Good attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills when working with Production, Warehouse, and Quality Assurance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and chemical ingredients to ensure they meet approved quality specifications before production.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout detergent manufacturing to verify compliance with established standards and production requirements.
- Perform visual and physical inspections of finished detergent products, checking:
- Product appearance and color
- Fragrance consistency
- Packaging quality
- Filling accuracy
- Labeling and coding
- Seal integrity
- Collect product samples for laboratory testing and properly maintain required reference or retention samples.
- Verify production parameters and ensure manufacturing activities comply with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify, segregate, document, and report non-conforming raw materials, packaging materials, or finished products.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Quality Assurance teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, housekeeping, and workplace safety requirements.
- Assist in identifying recurring quality problems and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality inspection records are complete and properly organized.
