Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising QA/QC personnel, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable codes, and promoting continuous quality improvement throughout all phases of the project.

QA/QC SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in QA/QC supervision within construction, industrial, or engineering projects.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in a related field or a similar discipline.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, inspection procedures, and applicable construction codes and standards.
• Experience supervising QA/QC personnel and coordinating multidisciplinary inspection activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, power plant, or heavy industrial construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise QA/QC inspectors and quality personnel during construction, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor inspections for piping, structural, mechanical, welding, and equipment installation to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and approved procedures.
• Conduct site quality surveillance, internal audits, and quality meetings to promote compliance and continuous improvement.
• Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure quality documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to QA/QC inspectors and construction teams on quality standards and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), project specifications, and relevant international standards.
• Prepare periodic quality reports and perform other QA/QC duties as assigned by management.
