QA/QC SUPERVISOR BUILDING

Qualifications:

• Must be a College Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Experience in building, civil, or construction quality control activities.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and evaluate workmanship and materials.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and site personnel.
• Must be physically fit and capable of working in a construction and industrial environment.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate QA/QC activities for building and construction works.
• Implement project quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection requirements.
• Conduct inspections of building and civil works at various stages of construction.
• Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed works.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project personnel.
• Review inspection requests and ensure required inspections are properly scheduled and completed.
• Identify defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions until issues are properly resolved.
• Review construction documentation, quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
• Ensure materials used on site comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor concrete, structural, architectural, finishing, and other building-related works as applicable.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report quality concerns to project management.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Assist in preparing quality reports and monitoring project quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements.
• Promote a strong quality culture among site personnel.
  Perform other QA/QC duties as assigned.
