QA/QC INSPECTOR PIPING
Qualifications:
- Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC inspection, preferably in the piping discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, installation, inspection, testing, and quality control processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, piping isometric drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
- Knowledge of applicable piping codes, standards, and quality requirements is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and oil and gas project environments.
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Willing to work in site-based, construction, shutdown, or project environments as required.

Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections of piping fabrication, installation, and construction activities.
- Inspect incoming piping materials, fittings, flanges, valves, and related components to verify compliance with approved specifications.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality requirements.
- Verify piping installation, alignment, supports, dimensions, elevations, and orientation against approved drawings and specifications.
- Inspect piping joints, welds, fittings, flanges, valves, and other piping components.
- Monitor piping fabrication and installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Perform visual inspections and coordinate required non-destructive testing (NDT) activities.
- Verify hydrostatic, pneumatic, leak, pressure, and other piping tests as required.
- Inspect piping systems before, during, and after testing and commissioning activities.
- Verify that inspection and testing activities are carried out according to approved procedures and schedules.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming work or materials.
- Prepare and issue inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), punch lists, and other quality documentation as required.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify that identified deficiencies are properly resolved.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, piping engineers, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives during inspection activities.
- Participate in pre-inspection meetings, site inspections, and quality review activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of piping materials and inspection activities.
- Assist in final inspection, system turnover, and preparation of quality dossiers.
- Ensure all piping works comply with applicable project specifications, engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
- Perform other QA/QC inspection duties as assigned.
