PRINTER SPECIALIST
Qualifications:
- Experience in graphic design using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of digital print production processes and print finishing techniques.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for digital printers and related production equipment.
- Experience performing routine printer maintenance and preventive servicing.
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering of printing consumables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting production deadlines.
- Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in an international, multicultural, and shipboard environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate digital printing and finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Prepare, edit, and format artwork using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Print a wide range of materials, including brochures, menus, signage, flyers, posters, event materials, and promotional collateral.
- Perform quality checks to ensure color accuracy, print alignment, image resolution, and overall production quality.
- Troubleshoot basic printer hardware and software issues to minimize production downtime.
- Conduct routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of printing equipment.
- Monitor printer performance and report equipment requiring advanced repairs or servicing.
- Maintain inventory of paper, ink, toner, printing plates, and other consumables.
- Prepare inventory reports and coordinate the ordering and replenishment of printing supplies.
- Organize print production schedules and prioritize urgent requests while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with onboard departments to understand design and printing requirements.
- Ensure all artwork complies with company branding guidelines and print specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records and equipment maintenance logs.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and properly handle printing materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient print production workspace.
- Perform other print production and graphic support duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Updated Resume with recent clear photo
- High School Diploma if High School Graduate
- Diploma and TOR if College Graduate
- Employment certificates (previous to present)
- Trainings attended
- Passport copy (1 year valid)
