CAS Recruitment Ltd – Greek Branch is seeking reliable and guest-oriented Pool Attendants to join a professional hotel or resort team in Greece. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable swimming pool area, assisting guests with towels and pool amenities, monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety procedures, and reporting incidents or facility concerns to management.
POOL ATTENDANT
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience as a Pool Attendant or in a related hotel, resort, hospitality, or guest service position.
High School Graduate. - Knowledge of properly setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
- Ability to maintain swimming pool areas, furniture, and facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional, and guest-oriented attitude.
- Ability to welcome guests and attend to their comfort, safety, and reasonable poolside requests.
- Ability to provide and collect towels and assist guests with pool amenities, shade, and refreshments.
- Competent in clearing used towels, glasses, trash, and other items from pool areas.
- Good understanding of pool safety procedures and resort safety protocols.
- Ability to monitor guest activities and remain alert to potential safety risks or emergencies.
- Ability to respond appropriately to incidents and promptly report accidents, injuries, damages, and other concerns to the supervisor.
- Competent in managing or monitoring pool cleaning schedules and performing daily facility inspections.
- Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and proper poolside maintenance practices.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify unsafe conditions or maintenance issues.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors for extended periods.
- Flexible, reliable, hardworking, alert, and capable of working in a fast-paced hotel or resort environment.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as required by hotel or resort operations.
- Good English communication skills.
- Must have a newly renewed passport.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and arrange pool umbrellas, loungers, chairs, tables, and other pool furniture before guest use.
- Ensure the swimming pool area, furniture, facilities, and surrounding areas are clean, orderly, safe, and presentable.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify potential hazards, damaged furniture, unsafe conditions, or maintenance concerns.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide courteous, professional, and attentive service.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements, umbrellas, shade, towels, refreshments, and other pool-related requests.
- Provide clean towels to guests and collect used towels promptly.
- Clear used towels, glasses, bottles, trash, and other items from the pool area to maintain cleanliness and order.
- Ensure loungers and other pool furniture are properly arranged and available for guests.
- Monitor guest activities around the swimming pool and promptly identify potentially unsafe behavior or situations.
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests at all times.
- Enforce established pool and resort safety protocols and politely remind guests of applicable rules when necessary.
- Monitor poolside activities and report accidents, injuries, emergencies, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Report damaged pool furniture, facilities, equipment, or other property concerns to hotel or resort management.
- Assist in maintaining appropriate access and orderly use of the swimming pool and surrounding facilities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, security, and other hotel departments when necessary.
- Manage and monitor the swimming pool cleaning schedule according to hotel or resort procedures.
- Perform daily inspections of poolside facilities and ensure required cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed.
- Check that pool furniture, umbrellas, walkways, and guest-use areas remain clean and safe throughout operating hours.
- Maintain adequate supplies of towels and other pool amenities and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
- Assist in keeping the pool deck and surrounding areas free from debris, spills, and other potential hazards.
- Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
- Maintain positive relationships with guests and colleagues through friendly and professional service.
- Follow hotel or resort policies, safety procedures, cleanliness standards, and management instructions.
- Remain alert and attentive while on duty, particularly during periods of high guest activity.
- Work efficiently as part of a team and assist colleagues with poolside duties when required.
- Perform other pool attendant, guest service, cleaning, and resort support duties assigned by management.
Salary Package:
- Salary starts at Php 85,000.00 gross monthly.
- Forty-Eight (48) Work Hours per week.
- Accommodation will be provided.
- Seasonal work for six (6) months. Contract renewable for up to 5 years.
