Dreamscapes Ltd. is offering an overseas employment opportunity for qualified Filipino workers interested in working as a Plumbing Technician in Bermuda.

Plumbing Technician

Qualifications:

• Preferably 45 years old or younger.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience working with a construction firm.
• Demonstrated proficiency in installing plumbing systems for residential buildings, swimming pools, spas, irrigation systems, and water features.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and work closely with designers and engineers.
• Relevant diploma or technical training in plumbing, plumbing technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using computers for technical documentation, reporting, and other work-related tasks.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, pipe installation methods, fittings, pumps, valves, and water circulation systems.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot plumbing problems and perform appropriate repairs.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with construction teams.
• Must be willing to take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or DET (Duolingo English Test) as required.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential buildings, including water supply, drainage, and wastewater systems.
• Install and service plumbing systems for swimming pools, spas, irrigation networks, fountains, and other water features.
• Read and interpret plumbing layouts, construction drawings, technical plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure plumbing installations meet project requirements.
• Measure, cut, fit, join, and install pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, and other plumbing components.
• Conduct pressure tests, leak detection, and functional checks to verify the safety and performance of installed systems.
• Troubleshoot plumbing faults, blockages, leaks, and water circulation problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Assist in planning pipe routes, equipment placement, and installation methods according to approved drawings.
• Ensure plumbing work complies with applicable building codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure proper operation, quality, and compliance with design requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Prepare or update installation records, maintenance reports, and other technical documentation using computer applications.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
