PLUMBER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Plumber in building maintenance, construction, or industrial facilities.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Others or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plumbing diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience working with water supply systems, drainage networks, sanitary systems, pumps, valves, and plumbing fixtures.
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes, and other plumbing system faults.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work, lifting materials, and working in confined spaces when required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing drawings, and technical specifications to determine the layout of water supply, drainage, and waste disposal systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
• Install and service pipes, valves, fittings, water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing components.
• Locate and diagnose leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Repair or replace damaged water supply lines, drainage pipes, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Install and maintain sanitary and waste disposal systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with project specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential plumbing problems before they become major issues.
• Conduct pressure testing and leak testing on newly installed or repaired plumbing systems.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with company standards, local regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and material usage.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other plumbing and maintenance duties assigned by supervisors.
