DAESHIN Plant Construction Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Plate Welder with WQT to perform high-quality welding works for industrial construction projects in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding plate structures and components while ensuring compliance with approved welding procedures, project specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Oil and Gas and Power Plant projects, with valid welding qualifications and strong technical skills in plate welding operations.
PLATE WELDER (With WQT)
Qualifications:
- Must have a VALID TRC.
- Must have WQT (Welder Qualification Test) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the same position as a Plate Welder.
- Proven experience in Oil and Gas and Power Plant projects.
- Skilled in plate welding, fabrication, and industrial construction welding works.
- Ability to read and understand welding drawings, symbols, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding works on steel plates, structures, and components according to approved welding procedures and project requirements.
- Execute welding operations using appropriate techniques while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
- Prepare materials before welding, including cleaning, fitting, alignment, and joint preparation.
- Inspect completed welds and ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Perform corrective welding and repairs when necessary.
- Operate and maintain welding tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow welding procedures, safety regulations, and company standards at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators, and other site personnel to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
