PHLEBOTOMY NURSE
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a holder of a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Examination).
- Must have relevant nursing or healthcare experience, preferably in emergency care, triage, phlebotomy, or a hospital setting.
- Must have good patient assessment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial patient triage by assessing incoming patients and determining the appropriate level of care based on their injury, illness, or medical condition.
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and promptly communicate significant changes to the appropriate healthcare team.
- Create, update, and maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing appropriate and timely care to patients.
- Work closely with emergency department staff and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and treatment.
- Perform phlebotomy-related duties and follow proper procedures for blood collection, specimen handling, labeling, and documentation, as required.
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control, patient safety, and healthcare protocols.
- Provide compassionate and professional care while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
