King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is seeking qualified and experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join its healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist pharmacists in medication preparation, dispensing activities, inventory management, and maintaining safe and efficient pharmacy operations in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare standards.

Pharmacy Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication handling, and pharmaceutical safety practices.
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy procedures is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality service, and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications according to prescriptions and hospital procedures.
• Receive, label, organize, and store pharmaceutical products properly.
• Prepare medication orders and ensure accuracy before dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, including monitoring stock levels, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
• Support the preparation of unit-dose medications and other pharmacy services as required.
• Follow medication safety procedures, infection control standards, and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of pharmacy activities.
• Provide support in maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient pharmacy environment.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
