Pest Control Worker

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
• Preferably with previous experience in pest control.
• Knowledgeable in pesticides, spraying equipment, pest identification, and pest control procedures.
• Able to read and understand pesticide labels and basic technical instructions.
• Must know how to drive and have a valid driving license.
• Physically fit and willing to perform fieldwork in different working environments.
• Willing to travel between different work locations when required.
• Responsible, disciplined, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Able to follow safety procedures and instructions when handling pesticides and operating equipment.
• Good observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to field-based working conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify different types of pests and determine appropriate control and treatment methods.
• Conduct inspections of residential, commercial, agricultural, and other assigned areas for signs of pest infestation.
• Apply pesticides, insecticides, rodenticides, and other approved pest control products according to established procedures.
• Operate spraying machines, applicators, and other pest control equipment safely and correctly.
• Read and follow pesticide labels, product instructions, safety precautions, and basic technical guidelines.
• Prepare and mix pest control chemicals according to prescribed instructions and required concentrations.
• Perform spraying, treatment, baiting, trapping, and other pest management activities as assigned.
• Inspect treated areas to assess the effectiveness of pest control measures.
• Recommend appropriate preventive measures to minimize the recurrence of pest infestations.
• Maintain accurate records of pest control treatments, chemicals used, locations serviced, and work completed.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, transportation, and disposal of pesticides and related materials.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow workplace safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Maintain pest control tools, spraying equipment, vehicles, and other work materials in good working condition.
• Report equipment problems, chemical concerns, safety hazards, or unusual pest activity to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at work areas before, during, and after pest control operations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and other workers when conducting pest control services.
• Travel between different work locations when required and complete assigned fieldwork efficiently.
• Follow company policies, schedules, work instructions, and applicable pest control and safety regulations.
• Perform other related pest control and field service duties assigned by management.
