Eastern Tabani Contracting Co., a trusted Quality Control (QC) service provider based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking highly qualified Painting & Coating QC Inspectors to join its growing team. With over 15 years of industry experience and 85 Saudi Aramco and CBT-approved QC professionals under its sponsorship, the company delivers world-class inspection and quality assurance services to major Oil & Gas projects across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will ensure that all painting and coating activities comply with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international quality requirements.

Painting & Coating QC Inspector

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of Quality Control experience within the Saudi Aramco Oil & Gas industry.
• Must possess NACE Coating Inspector Level II or BGAS Level II certification.
• Candidates with Saudi Aramco approval, SAP Number (8000 Series), and CBT Pass are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and international coating standards.
• Experience inspecting surface preparation, abrasive blasting, protective coatings, and industrial painting systems.
• Proficient in using coating inspection instruments, including dry film thickness gauges, surface profile gauges, holiday detectors, and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Excellent technical reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Willing to work in Saudi Arabia under the employer’s policies and project

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections of painting and coating activities for oil and gas construction and maintenance projects.
• Verify surface preparation, environmental conditions, coating application, and curing processes in accordance with project specifications and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Inspect blasting operations to ensure proper surface cleanliness, anchor profile, and preparation prior to coating application.
• Measure and verify coating thickness, adhesion, surface profile, environmental conditions, and holiday testing using calibrated inspection equipment.
• Review contractor work procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material certifications, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco engineering standards, project specifications, NACE requirements, and international coating standards.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), daily quality records, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, clients, and construction teams to resolve quality issues and ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor contractor workmanship and recommend corrective actions for non-compliant activities.
• Verify calibration and proper use of inspection instruments and testing equipment.
• Participate in quality audits, project meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements throughout project execution.
